This is the official website of the Docks At Caney Creek Property Owners Association, Inc. and the Docks At Caney Creek community. Operated by the Association’s Board of Directors, this subdivision is no longer controlled by or affiliated with the developer of the community.
Docks at Caney Creek is located on Watts Bar Lake in East Tennessee. This 72 mile long lake encompasses 39,444 acres with over 844 miles of scenic shoreline making Watts Bar Lake a beautiful recreational treasure. Water activities fill the days of every season from kayaking and cruising to water sports and fishing. Watts Bar Lake is in the Tennessee River chain of lakes and through its locks boaters can cruise connecting waterways south to the Gulf of Mexico or north to Lake Erie! Docks At Caney Creek is located on the western shore approximately at the midpoint of the lake between the upper Fort Loudon Dam and lower Watts Bar Dam at Tennessee River Mile Marks 561-562.
An ideal blend of privacy and proximity to all the conveniences and features of the area add to the enjoyment of life at Docks at Caney Creek. The community is located very near the small town charms of historic Rockwood, Harriman, and Kingston, Tennessee, and has a Krogers, Lowes, and Walgreens just 5 minutes from the entrance gates. The campus of Roane State Community College is nearby as well as the Covenant Health’s new Roane Medical Center hospital. There are 19 churches within a 15 minute drive. The up-tempo attractions and cultural offerings of metropolitan Knoxville are just 30 minutes away while the scenic delights of Watts Bar Dam, numerous county parks and recreation areas, Cherokee National Forest, Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Townsend, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge are all close enough for a day of enjoyment.
